    Description

    Original US Vietnam War aerial Lazy Dog forged solid Steel Bomblets.    Work by gravity falling out of an airplane.
    1 3/4 inches in length.

    Lazy Dog
    "bombs" were also called
    Red Dot Bombs
    or
    Yellow Dog Bombs.
    “Lazy dogs” were
    anti-personnel missiles
    that
    never contained an explosive device.  They were dropped from aircraft.   After release the "Lazy Dog" projectile would develop an incredible amount of speed and kinetic energy as it fell. Penetrating nearly anything it hit on the ground. In Vietnam they were highly effective against troops hidden in the jungle.
