Leitz Leicina 8SV Cine Movie Camera Angenieux Zoom K2 F7.5-35mm.
Light meter works!
A very good condition Leicina! Angenieux lens is perfect, clean. Body is clean no dents or scratches. Rare yellow handle color. Some fading on the handle, but hey it’s 60 years old!
Battery compartment is clean, no batteries (takes AA)
Comes with very cool Leitz leather case in good condition and original strap.
Interior is clean.
Viewer clean, see pictures.
Getting harder to find these in mint condition.
UPDATE: I tested this camera.
The battery compartment works and sends proper voltage.
The negative terminal is not making contact by about 1mm
It looks like a very small part, tip, of the negative terminal broke off. NOT the battery terminal, the contact point inside where it touches. SEE PICTURE POINTING W FINGER
When you make contact the motor spins properly and the camera works!
Can send video of motor spinning.
So I added a piece of tinfoil to complete the circuit and the camera works as it should. Motor spins!
I could solder it for a permanent fix but….
this is a very good condition older camera in rare color , I don’t want to permanently alter it or add non-original parts to hurt its collectibility
Motor spins. All interior parts work!
If someone can source a similar terminal, or wants to repair themselves this is ideal.
I will try to find a terminal that works but once I fully repair it the price will go up.
But works as it is with a small piece of tinfoil on the negative terminal.
