Description

The 801 Macro was Nizo’s “flagship”. It is one of the most sophisticated (and exclusive) Super 8 Movie Cameras. According to the price list 1977 this camera retailed (without accessories) for 2'800 Swiss Francs which would be today approx. 2’750 US$. The lens is a Schneider Kreuznach (Germany) 7 to 80mm f/1.8 zoom with macro function. The lens focuses from 1.5 to 50 meters or 5 to 150 feet. The filter size is 67mm.
The lens is clean and clear. No scratches or dust.
Powered by six 1.5V AA batteries located in the handle and two 1,35V knob cells for the light meter. 2-speed power zoom and manual override.
Automatic and manual exposure light meter.
Built in time lapse, automatic single frame filming from six frames per second to one frame per minute. Automatic lap dissolves and film rewind. Variable focusing diopter. The viewfinder is clean inside and has a split image rangefinder for focusing. Film speeds are B (for time exposure), single frame, 18, 24 and 54fps (slow motion). Filter selector for daylight in artificial light.
Electronic flash sync PC socket, cable release socket and a remote cable release socket.This Camera is in excellent condition. Minimal signs of use. Everything is in great working order.
