I have been working on turntables for almost 10 years
Just did a complete setup and test of this nicely working fully automatic 222
Floating Platter and arm design like Thorens turntables
Belt is still good
Pitch controls both work and speed is nice and steady on both speeds
Installed an Audio Technics P Mount cartridge with good used stylus
Auto start works for 12 inch records ONLY
It is supposed to sense if you have a 7 inch record and adjust the set down accordingly. It does not.
Auto Stop at the end of the record also works and the arm returns fully to the rest position
Built in stylus pressure gauge works and is very accurate
Dust cover is well above average with only minor scuff marks. Nothing deep. No cracks.
