    Original 1920's vintage photograph of a Douglas 0-2H biplane. This Army air force airplane was used predominately as an observation plane.
    This photograph was taken at Fort Sill, Oklahoma by Carlyle Chamberlain in the 1920s while he was stationed there. It is a stunning near profile view with the Army star slightly visible on the top wing, and the following information on the side; "US Army, A.C. 28-148, F.A.D. Douglas0-2H"
    There is some surface dirt on this image which we have not attempted to clean. Measurement of this photograph is approximately 5 7/8" x 3 5/8"
    Carlyle Chamberlain was an undiscovered photographer who lived in Louisville, Kentucky. His love of adventure was well known to those around him, as was his passion for photography. The majority of his work spans 1920's - 1940's. His field of composition covered a variety of themes, predominately human interest and nature.
