Good condition original WWII Japanese Type 19 cavalry officer dress sword. 30 ¾” blade has original bright plated finish showing some flaking Never sharpened and still has original leather washer at the base. Brass hilt has attractive patina. Horn grip has tight wire wrap and no damage. Has the strap from original knot attached. Fitted in correct original steel scabbard that has original nickel plated finish showing some wear to brown patina and a few dents. A hard to find Japanese cavalry officer dress sword.
