with a pair of Zenith Allegro 2000 speakers. All are in great physical and working condition for their age (late 70's early 80's). The plastic cover has scuffs and scratches but no cracks. The record player works but it's a bit sluggish in the beginning on automatic (needs lubing). Records sound GREAT! The 8 track works, speed is very good. The cassette player works, Plays, Fast Forward, Rewind. The FM Stereo and AM easily tunes in stations. The
Zenith Allegro 2000 speakers sound great and look GOOD. One speaker wire was extended.  The speaker cabinets have been customized with oak sheets, good job, at first they look factory made. The controls were cleaned (lubed) with
DeoxIT Gold G5 Spray. The volume knob was a bit loose (NOT the pot). Add some cloth to tighten the knob to the
potentiometer
. This is a used vintage piece of audio equipment that has not been serviced. It is not in mint condition, it is in used condition, with minor flaws. The pictures are an important part of the description. Buyer pays shipping from 91401 zip. The unit will be shipped in 3 separate boxes for its safety. That is why a handling charge has been added.
